The majority of Fundamental's work since we began in 2005 has focused on children and young people, their lives and the communities in which they live. We have alleviate some of the hardship these young people face, by providing essential & accessible services, support and provision that is tailored specifically to meet their needs and make a positive impact on their lives and futures. We have receive funding via contracted work through Connexions West Yorkshire, The Youth Justice Board, Community Safety Partnership, Neighbourhood Renewal, grants and donations and active fundraising.
Since March 2005 we have worked with just over 3000 children and young people in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the UK and on the streets and in the orphanages of Eastern Europe. Also, we have provided much needed personal support and aid for 100’s of families in these communities.
“94% of the children and young people we have worked with have described their support from us as life changing”
“96% of parents and family members describe our services as being life changing for them and the wider family”
(Taken from an independent audit of our services undertaken in August 2007)
