Fundamental is an exciting and innovative Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee that began life in April 2005.
Since it started Fundamental has helped over 3000 young people and 100's of families from the most deprived areas in the UK and have provided over £1.9million worth of practical support.

What we do
Fundamental, as the name might suggest, focuses on FUN!! which is the 'key' ingredient of all our projects, products and services.
As well as fun, our organisation designs, develops and delivers high-quality services that are essential in positively changing people's lives and shaping their futures, especially for those who have the greatest need.
In a 'nutshell' Fundamental:
Invests funds raised by our social enterprise activities into the lives of children and families through supporting groups and organisations to provide needs-led services, crisis support and educational programmes.
Makes a positive impact on people’s lives by providing education and employment opportunities for young people and adults who may be marginalised by society .
Promotes and advocates on behalf of those in need and especially children and families from socially deprived communities.
Actively gets involved with aid, welfare and education programmes across the UK and overseas and has set up and provided high quality children and youth services for over 5 years. This has positively impacted on and improved the lives of over 3000 children and young people and 100’s of family’s in crisis .
Cares about and is wholeheartedly committed to changing the lives and shaping the futures of people who are facing economical and social disadvantage. Fundamental is not about throwing money at problems, but using money, education, knowledge and experience wisely to tackle root causes of poverty, disadvantage and anti-social behaviour.
Tackles social issues like crime, ill-health, unemployment, poverty and illiteracy through positive social action and targeted services.
Overall, Fundamental has successfully grown over the past 5 years and is constantly changing to meet the needs of those most at risk and in crisis. We are a forward thinking and motivated charity that constantly strives to help others and provide a working environment that is conducive to helping people to learn, grow, be valued and succeed.
